The Special Education Department ensures equitable opportunities for all students with disabilities through student focused collaboration & trusting relationships. We operationalize and communicate our priorities and hold ourselves and others accountable through continuous improvement.

Lumberg is fortunate to have a team of four learning specialists, a full time social worker, a full time speech and language pathologist, and more.  Each staff member is committed to ensuring that all student’s individual education plans are followed with fidelity and that minutes are met both timely and in line with goals.
