Meet the Principal

Lumberg is a unique place. We are committed to our Culture, Community and Empowering all stakeholders to achieve more than they thought possible. We are guided by Three Dimensions of Student Achievement, Mastery of Knowledge, Character and High Quality work. Lumberg is a PreK through 6th grade elementary school that embodies a Dual Language Program.

I am in my 17th year in Jeffco as an educator. I have been a teacher, an instructional coach and an assistant principal prior to this role, all within Jeffco. Each year in education brings me new opportunities to learn and grow just like our students and I am excited to continue my learning journey.

As an educator, I am dedicated to:

• Building relationships with students, families and the community and finding unique ways to bring us all together
• Connecting with community resources to provide enrichment opportunities for all kids before/after school
• Continuing engaging learning experiences and authentic tasks for students to achieve at high levels while maintaining safe and welcoming learning environments
• Expanding and strengthening the professional growth of all Lumberg staff members
• Uniting Lumberg and the various programs offered to create a cohesive school that is focused on student achievement academically and socially emotionally for all kids.
